Keito Gaku, artiste transgenre, met en scène dans Boys Run The Riot l'histoire d'amitié de deux adolescents qui ne se sentent pas en phase avec les normes étouffantes de la société. Laissez-vous embarquer par la fougue de ces jeunes en quête de liberté !
Ryo, assigné femme à la naissance, se sent mal dans son corps et vis-à-vis de l'identité de genre qu'on cherche à lui imposer. Refusant de porter son uniforme de fille, il essaie autant que possible de se rendre au lycée en tenue de sport. Mais son destin va changer avec l'arrivée d'un nouvel élève ! Malgré le look de " voyou " de ce dernier, les deux lycéens découvrent qu'ils partagent la même passion pour la mode. Aussi, passé un premier contact difficile, ils décident d'un commun accord de se lancer dans un grand projet : créer ensemble une marque de vêtements avec pour rêve et revendication de pouvoir s'affirmer et s'exprimer en dehors des diktats de la société !
